Of course its smaller-than-average scale is also great for new guitar players, too, but at 1-11/16", the nut is easily wide enough to accommodate full-sized fingertips.

You'd be surprised to know how many gigging musicians, even well-known professionals, actually prefer to gig with guitars like the Yamaha APXT2 acoustic-electric model. That's because you can take this comfortable, shallow-body guitar anywhere, plug in, and get full-bodied acoustic tone through the PA, courtesy of the onboard ART-based pickup system. What's more, Yamaha gave the APXT2 one of their proprietary tuners, which let you tune up quickly, without needing to plug in extra gear.
