Radial Engineering R800 7210 00 Overview
Designed for guitar players, the BigShot from Radial Engineering is a true-bypass ABY switcher that lets you choose between two different output points, such as two guitar amplifiers. The pedal features two footswitches which allow you to toggle between amplifiers or route your signal to both of them simultaneously. Via the pedal's ground-lift switch and on-board isolation transformer, you'll be able to eliminate any hum or buzz sounds that might infect your power, and the pedal's circuitry ensures your tone will remain pristine throughout its pathways and into either resulting amplifier.
Another useful feature is the 180° polarity switch, which helps calibrate any differences in phase between both of your amplifiers, ensuring your low end sounds as massive as it ought to be. This pedal is passive, meaning that without power, its signal paths will work, completely unaffected. Plug in a 9V battery or power it up from your pedalboard, and the LEDs will illuminate to indicate your outputs, allowing you to make crucial amp-switching decisions on a darkened stage. This pedal also provides a dedicated tuner output which is always on, allowing you to constantly monitor your tuning and keep any such module out of your signal chain.
